Sea World Foundation is proud to partner with Containers for Change Queensland! Containers for Change is Queensland’s container refund scheme that incentivises recycling and reduces litter by providing a 10 cent refund for eligible drink containers. Since its launch in 2019, over 8 billion containers have been returned, putting $800 million back into the pockets of communities and charities.
Meet our incredible animal recycling ambassadors at the Seal Guardians' presentation at Sea World for an educational adventure that highlights the vital role we all play in protecting our planet! Our playful critters demonstrate the importance of properly disposing of drink containers and the impact of plastics on our waterways and oceans.
Visit the Seal Guardian’s presentation to see our recycling ambassadors in action. Then, drop off your bottles, cans and poppers at the Containers for Change bins throughout the park, and know that the 10c refund will go directly towards Sea World Foundation's critical conservation efforts.
